Your Ceremony

Here are some of the major framework headings that we can use to create your special ceremony:

• Introduction (welcome everyone as well as the necessary introductions)
• Asking (a public declaration of your intent to marry and sets the scene for your vows)
• Vows (the special promises that you will make to each other)
• Monitum (words I need to say - required by law - for your wedding to be legal)
• Giving away (Usually by a family member)
• Readings (can be religious, favourite passages from a book, poetry etc)
• Special ceremonies (often sand, candle, rose, wine etc - see special extras page)
• Music (can be sung or just enjoyed - very useful when you are signing the marriage documents)
• Signing of the register (another important legal requirement)
• Re-introduction as husband and wife.

Of course there are also other logistics such as the Processional (walking in), and Recessional (Exit) that we can plan together to suit your needs.
